improved weed management systems
that are efficient and environmentally safe
The mission of the Invasive Weed
Management Unit is to develop improved weed management systems
that are efficient and environmentally safe. To accomplish this
mission, our projects are aimed toward collection of fundamental
data regarding weeds, chemicals and their behavior, and then
developing and enhancing systems for improved weed management.
Research projects in this management
unit include:
developing biological/ecological knowledge for enhancing weed management systems
minor
use weed management
factors influencing herbicide
sorption, degradation and bound residue formation related
to water quality.
